IoT-Based Electricity Usage Monitoring and Controlling System using Wemos and Blynk Application

Abstract
One of the activities is the use of smartphone technology as an effort to minimize waste and short circuit of electricity due to negligence in the use of electronic devices, namely the control and monitoring of the use of electronic devices themselves. The electronic equipment in question is a household electronic device such as TV, AC, Refrigerator, etc. This study aims to create a system that utilizes the Internet of Things (IoT) technology that functions as a control (on / off) as well as remote monitoring of the electrical power used on the lamp as an illustration of the electronic device. The system is made using Wemos D1, ACS712 current sensor, and relay and blynk application as the interface of the smartphone. Testing has been done, the result is that the microcontroller circuit only takes 1-3 seconds on average to respond to commands from the Blynk application so that the prototype control system and electric power monitoring can function properly.
